Our project is designed for pupils from Ukraine in grades 5–13. We understand that war, forced relocation and new learning environments create knowledge gaps and undermine confidence.
That’s why we help students gradually catch up, rebuild trust in their abilities, and rediscover joy in learning subjects that matter most to them.

How to start
Register
Register for the 2025–2026 school year — even if your child studied with us last year. Registration is open anytime but is valid only until the end of the school year.

Enroll in courses on the website that fit your child’s level, schedule, language of instruction, and — most importantly — their learning goals. All courses are listed below.
FOCUS COURSES
These courses don’t replace school lessons but provide an opportunity to fill knowledge gaps or strengthen skills.

When planning participation, it’s important to discuss with your child’s the schedule and free time.

Our lessons are based on differentiated learning and collaboration. We take into account the diverse abilities and needs of students, set goals together, identify learning gaps, and build classes that encourage active participation, clear guidance from teachers, and growing confidence step by step.
pet COURSES
Pet Courses do not replace school education. If a student has gaps in the school program, we recommend discussing this with a coordinator and choosing a Focus Course instead.
Since places are limited and our courses are completely free, we kindly ask families to register only for those courses that truly interest the child. This helps us maintain an atmosphere of genuine curiosity and create a space for discovery.
This means we explore new teaching methods, take into account students’ different abilities and needs, help connect knowledge across disciplines, and practice teamwork — turning learning into an engaging experience.

Our approach
They give students the chance to try new learning formats and change their perspective on subjects that may once have seemed boring or difficult.
Pet Courses are original programs, created by our teachers. They include clubs, workshops, creative studios, game labs.
When choosing, plan the schedule together with your child so there’s enough time for both learning and rest.
NOTE: Course descriptions are always published in the teaching language.
Individual support
During the school year, students can:
- ask for a consultation before a school test to prepare with confidence;
- practice with a language buddy to improve speaking in a relaxed way;
- join the Homework Club to get help with assignments;
- work with a tutor for extra support on tricky topics.
In our project every student can get individual support. We know that everyone learns differently and at their own pace. Before classes start, you can talk with us online or write via Telegram or email: hello@teachersforukrainiankids.org
We want every student to feel supported, close their learning gaps, and reach their goals at a pace that feels comfortable.

We support students in grades 5-13 from Ukraine in their educational adaptation and help fill knowledge gaps that appeared because of moving due to the war, missed classes, or language barriers. For success, it's important that the student sets their own learning goals and participates actively in classes.

All classes in the project are free. But you can always support us by donating a comfortable amount or telling about us on social media
All our classes are online using Zoom or similar safe platforms. Depending on what you need, you might work one-on-one with a teacher or be part of a small, friendly group of students.
Classes meet once a week, though we can work out a different schedule if you need individual support. We also ask students to spend about an hour each week on homework, practice, or reading that goes with the lessons. This helps you remember what you've learned and get the most out of the program!
Yes, we can help with exam preparation in some school subjects. We can always discuss the subject and learning format during the online interview. It's important to understand that preparation effectiveness depends directly on student motivation. If a child doesn't see the point in classes, isn't ready to make effort, or is overloaded with other tasks, we cannot ensure successful preparation. Also, our resources are limited, so we focus on students who are ready to make effort and work toward their goal.
No, we work specifically with Ukrainian children who had to leave their country because of the war that started in 2022.
No. We can't replace your child's regular school. What we do is help bridge the gaps - maybe they missed some lessons because of moving, or they're struggling with the language, or there's a subject they want to dive deeper into. We're here as temporary and focused help, not as a full-time school alternative.
No. We don't test knowledge or evaluate how well material is learned. The goal of classes is to strengthen confidence and develop independent learning skills.
